We loved everything about this place. The staff were super friendly and looked after us well. They booked tours for us and a car to Hanoi.airport. The room was beautiful and waking up to the mountain views was very special. Thank you for everything we appreciate it.

"Pleasant"

6.0

Lovely view, nice beds, great staff. Ordered a milkshake and they didn’t have the ingredients and actually drove to go get them instead of saying no which was very sweet and quite funny! Overall fine just a shame the facilities weren’t as promised.

The pool wasn’t usable when we visited as the garden was being renovated so it was quite dirty - we also felt the bath tub things were a little too dirty to use and only had cold water. Also some hair on the floor. Only one bathroom for the whole floor we think?

"Calm, peaceful would stay again"

10.0

The garden was incredible. I could hear a waterfall from my bedroom which was very healing. The staff made me feel very safe and welcome. They have very cute pets to dogs and 2 cats very loving!

The food could of had more meat in and flavour. But they did give the option of using the kitchen

"Beautiful relaxing family stay in nature"

8.0

A really nice family place, we felt very welcome. They helped us arrange a tour, but only once we asked, we felt no pressure to buy it. The view into nature is beautiful. The breakfast was very tasty. They helped us arrange a taxi back into town to catch our bus very early in the morning for a very fair price. We would recommend!

The bedroom is modest, but nice enough. We would have appreciated if they would offer to empty the bathroom bins, but maybe we should have just asked. Also, they cook nice meals, but not everything on the menu is available, for example one day they were completely out of chicken, but these were minor problems.

"READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING THE DORM!!"

5.0

Staff super friendly. Food and coffee is amazing. Decent amount of choice for free breakfast. Cute outdoor area at the rear. Amazing views to the front. Location might be restrictive if you don't ride a scooter. Comfy beds.

The dorm room is essentially a giant hallway!! This is not shown in the images on booking.com and I would not have booked this place had I known in advance. There is no door - its just a stairwell leading upstairs. The private rooms are accessed via the dorm, so literally everyone is walking through the dorm room either to access their room, the bathroom or the downstairs area. Less than zero privacy. Because it's a wooden house, the floor SHAKES when someone walks past, so even if you have ear plugs and an eye mask, the feeling of your bed shaking when someone walks by, will wake you up. The beds are SO close together, like literally 30cms inbetween beds. The private rooms have no ceilings, so you can hear EVERYTHING, and if they have their light on, it means the dorm is lit up too. They also allow children and babies to stay here - at one point during my stay there were 4 children and 2 babies. This in itself wouldn't be an issue if it weren't for the fact the kids run round screaming in the dorm (when they're staying in private rooms) and of course even when they're in their own room, you can still hear everything. There is only one bathroom inside to service 4 of the private rooms AND the dorm. There is another in the outside area, but its not exactly ideal if it's raining, especially having to walk down a metal stairway to get to it. Cockerels are at it from 3am every morning and dogs barking incessantly at all hours. Of course when you stay somewhere rural in Asia, this is to he expected, but with it being a wooden house, there is absolutely no soundproofing whatsoever. I've travelled Asia for over a year and have stayed in hostels and homestays the whole time so I know what to expect and I don't normally leave reviews like this even if I've had a disappointing stay, but i can't actually believe that no one seems to have mentioned any of these issues.
