Sekar Waru Homestay

A lovely homestay, quiet location, close enough to the beach, Wera & family made us very welcome, it has a very homely feel with beautiful gardens with a koi carp fish pond. Typical balanese traditional home. We will definitely be back to stay again

The communal kitchen was tired and in need of an upgrade but is adequate.

We absolutely loved staying at this beautiful homestay. We booked relatively late, and to score this little gem so close to the beach was amazing. Such great value for money being so close to the beach at a very reasonable price 👌🏼 👍🏼

This homestay was a wonderful find! The room was incredibly spacious and well-equipped for a comfortable stay. The bed was a highlight—the pillows and clean sheets were perfect for a good night's sleep. I also appreciated the useful amenities like a work desk, TV, and ample storage. The air conditioning and multiple electrical outlets all worked flawlessly. The bathroom was spotless and functional, complete with a reliable hot and cold shower, a flushing toilet, and large, clean towels. The family members/owner were very friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic, making it easy to explore the area. It was just a 10-minute walk to the beach and several great cafes, and only a two-minute walk from a local "warung nasi" serving Indonesian food. Nearby there were several body parlors as well. This convenience made our stay even more enjoyable.

A slight inconvenience: the shower drain emits a musty odor whenever the bathroom light/exhaust fan is turned on.
