The best homestay I have ever stayed in, ever!! Really special time at Efata Homestay, despite it being a short 1 night, it will definitely be the most memorable. From the very start I was greeted with big smiles and was made to feel at home instantly. The homestay and garden itself were immaculate - really well maintained and looked after. The room was extremely comfortable and had everything you needed. Ika was extremely helpful and brought me around on his scooter to a few places - I got the opportunity to see his friends places - coconut sugar making, batik making where I was able to learn the process of the traditional wax-resist dyeing technique and create my own pattern to keep as a souvenir. I also visited some temples with Ika the following day after my sunrise Borobudur tour (which Ika woke up before 4am to drive me to drive it being a short walk!) Yani was a superb host and made sure i didn’t go hungry - I was greeted with a welcome drink and even though I did get breakfast at my temple tour, Yani prepared some Indonesian snacks for me and tea before my bus back to Yogyakarta. Truly an unforgettable experience which I am extremely thankful for. Thank you to you both!

Das Frühstück war seher lecker. Sie sind serh freundlich und der kleine Garten ist liebevoll gestalltet. ich habe auch eine Fahrt zum Temple Pranamban mit dem Homestay Besitzer buchen können. Er ist ein angenehmer Fahrer. Sie sind sehr herzliche und hilfsbereite Menschen.

Zelo prijetno bivanje v bližini templja. Lastnika sta zelo prijazna in lepo poskrbita za goste. Zajtrk je odličen in zelo je čisto. Zapeljali so nas tudi do templja sicer bi precej iskali pravi vhod. Vsekakor priporočamo.

Vse je bilo v redu.

Chambre calme, bon petit déjeuner et surtout gentillesse du propriétaire qui m’a transporté jusqu’à la nouvelle entrée du temple de Borobodur Belles visites de l’artisanat local avec tarif très abordable, commentaires très intéressants. Service de nettoyage du linge efficace et très bon marché

小院花木扶疏，鸟语花香，非常养眼，老板夫妻俩都超级nice，提供了很多帮助，老板娘早上会精心准备当地特色的早餐，很美味。

可能雨季的原因，刚进屋的时候会有一点点霉味。

Homestay xuất sắc nhất chuyến đi - Host siêu "có tâm" & Không gian chữa lành. Score: 10/10 • Host (Chủ nhà): Bác Ika cực kỳ nhiệt tình và tốt bụng. Bác hỗ trợ chở xe máy ra bến xe/Borobudur miễn phí. Hôm mình check-out, bác còn dùng ô tô cá nhân chở mình sang khách sạn mới free luôn. Cảm giác như được người nhà chăm sóc chứ không phải khách du lịch. • Phòng ốc & Vibe: Phòng siêu sạch, vườn cây xanh mướt, thoáng khí. Mình đến nơi lúc 23:30 trong trạng thái ốm sốt, nhưng nhờ không gian ở đây mà ngủ cực ngon, sáng dậy khỏe hẳn. • Giá cả: Quá hời cho một chất lượng dịch vụ như này (đã bao gồm ăn sáng). - Khoảng 4:20 sáng sẽ có tiếng loa từ nhà thờ Hồi giáo (đặc sản chung ở Indo rồi). Chỉ cần chịu khó dậy xíu đeo earplug vào là ngủ ngon lành tới sáng. Không phải vấn đề lớn. Tuyệt đối recommend. Nếu lịch trình cho phép, mình chắc chắn sẽ ở lại thêm 1 đêm nữa. Cảm ơn bác Ika vì những câu chuyện và sự tiếp đón nồng hậu!

My stay at Efata Homestay was truly awesome, made even more special by Ika and Yani, who went out of their way to help me. Ika, in particular, took me on his motorbike to the Chicken Church and Borobudur Temple. On my last morning, he took me to the bus station and even helped me book a ticket back to Malioboro when it wasn’t entirely clear if there was an early morning service. They also made a fantastic local Javanese breakfast each morning. Super clean room, with nice touches such as extra blankets. Such a nice family. And a great location as well Don’t hesitate, just book.

- Ika and Iani are lovely smily extremely helpful hosts. They know a lot about Borobudur and about the surroundings. It is a pleasure to hear the explanations. - Located on a side street, the house has a small garden and you can sit outside your room and relax. - The bed is very comfortable and the AC quiet - You are in walking distance (about 10 min) to the bus station. And it takes about 5 min to walk to the sunrise entrance for the visit of Borobudur.

Everything was good. Amazing value for your money.
