Philippe is an amazing host, always ready to help. It was our first stop in Costa Rica (Orotina is 45 min from San Jose Airport) and all his tips were super helpful. The breakfast was amazing with lots of different fruits.

The place is a bit humid, but that is general in Costa Rica during the rainy season.

"Perfect stopover on our way west"

Arrived late due to our late flight and 45 minute drive from San Jose. After giving Philippe a call he quickly greeted us at the door. He was super friendly and hospitable. We were tired from our trip and he set us up VERY quickly despite our language barrier. Next morning there was fresh fruits waiting for us in the shared kitchen and a cute kitty to play with. A perfect little spotover on our way to tamarindo.

The furniture/sheets and washroom were a little dated but well kept as everything worked fine.

Hospitality of the host even though we arrived VERY late and left very early from airport. 🙌 PERFECT welcome.to Costa Rica. Easy 45 minute drive from airport and basically one road.

Area was not as appealing at night when arriving but all behind locked gate and very secure.

our Waze directions were off and we had some difficulty in locating hotel
