PENZION BAŠKA VODA CZ

We choose the Pension because of the reviews. The lady at reception, was super nice and talkative.... ( Just in Czech, so only towards my colleague) She was open and honest about the situation. All and all the stay was a kind of ok. Diner: ehhhh... nothing to choose, not the time, nor what we would eat.... the cook was not there, just came in at 19:00 to make the main course ( all there was to get, and not even any choice ) and she was gone again... ( She was working and just came for this) Honestly said: althought nothing to choose, what we did get, was good! ( but we were hungry... :-) ) Breakfast: Same story: Nothing to choose, you just got a plate with breakfast and that is it... so if you have a certain preference.... too bad.... :-). As we eat anything, it was enough, good quality and nicely presented! They have plenty of interesting animals.... which you just have to take 5-10 minutes to look at!! cats, dogs, Piranhas, Crocodile, Cayman, Turtles, interesting fish and so on... really nice!

We were there on a wednesday and they clearly were not expecting anyone. We booked 1 room with Hot tub and one room with bath. Although no one was there, we got a room with a shower and a room with a (shared) bathroom ( but in this case there were no other people, but still it is accorss the hall way. We dronk a beer, but after that one, we were asked to change to something else as it were the last ones. The reception annex, bar, annex restaurant was cold!! ( but again, they were not expecting anyone, so heating the place would only be for the parrot... ( Who can teach you some good Czech words buy the way.... ) Maybe we try again in summertime again when it is a bit more busy, but for this time a year and during the week, we will find some other place....

Everything was perfect magic place with great Room and food.
