Aprilia Home Stay

I had a long stay at Sadia Home Stay (3 months). I felt at home. Lovely family, very accommodating and warm. If you're looking for a real Balinese experience, and get to know the culture more, I recommend you staying there. It's a very convenient location, walking distances to all the essentials, as well as to Udara spa and resort. Also super close to the beach and some great coffee places in Seseh. Laundry and convenience stores are also within proximity. Richie, the dog is super friendly, despite him barking sometimes, like dogs do. Do not worry about what others are saying. He's a sweet boy. Bonus: Sadia and his son are surf instructors if you're looking to learn how to Surf.

Quiet and clean close to the beach, nice family

The bathroom is very simple it's ok just know that it's not new

aircon didnt really work, cockroaches in room. Dog would Bark at you everytime you came in

I stayed at Sadia's homestay for 2 weeks it is a very relaxed, calm and quiet traditional Balinese compound shared with his family. The architecture is classic Bali stone style complete with its own temple. The Rooms are very comfortable and good value for money. The bed and pillows are great, the airconditioner is very cold/quiet and well maintained and the bathroom is a really big size with good hot water and space to store your things. The kitchen has basic things like cooking stove, plates, pans, cutlery, fridge etc. The place is very well cared for by Anna the cleaner who is a very sweet lady who fixes up your room most days, which is a really nice touch. Sadia and Made his wife are very nice and helped me with getting money when i lost my bank card, showed me their building projects in the Seseh area and told me many stories about surfing. They have two really beautiful dog's Ritchie and Arul who live on the property. I made good friends with both the dogs and they would come running on the beach with me every morning and evening, which made the place feel like home. Ritchie is very barky when you walk in because he's protecting the house but completely harmless and a very sweet dog once you meet him, so don't be afraid. Just nearby the house is the beach and local cafes in a very chill setting and Canggu is just a 15 minute ride away if you want the hustle and bustle.

The location is in a beautiful village surrounded by local people.

OK to stay for one or two nights, but not longer. I would also not recommend it to people who are afraid of dogs.

I did try to complain but email didn’t send. I only stayed 1 night had to leave. Smelt very damp. Ceiling falling to pieces with mould & damp. Awful area. Dog Pooh ☹️

Guesthouse located in a nice local surrounding, comfortable bed, nice terrace, AC very efficient, owner very reactive and professional. Close to many good restaurants.
