La posizione è perfetta, a 5 minuti da Av. Oceánica. La zona e' tranquilla e si può passeggiare senza problemi. L 'appartamento è pulitissimo e molto confortevole e Lluis l'anfitrione perfetto. Assolutamente consigliato

Luis (the owner) was GREAT! Very friendly, accommodating and hospitable. The location is literally perfect, as you're near the beach, beautiful shopping mall, and practically in the center of (almost) everything. If you need an Uber from that location to anywhere, it seems virtually most drivers start in that general area, so you're never waiting longer than 2 minutes or so for an Uber ride to to popular destinations that span outward from the Hostel. I also appreciate how he had standard cooking appliances (stove, microwave, refrigerator, etc) and cooking utensils for if you want to cook (nothing fancy or gourmet, but basic things like eggs, bacon, meat, cutting fruit, etc) you can do so and enjoy a meal at the kitchen table, in your room, or the balcony for a great view of the city area. Honestly, I love this hostel so much, I'm seriously considering long term, month-long (or more) stays in future visits back, as there's hardly anywhere else I'd want to stay. Payment is easy and hassle free. You pay for the duration of your stay, and that's it. You can go and do whatever you wish, at any time you please, no matter how early or late. Just be corteous of those during night and keep noise levels down to zero. On the first night, the credit machine didn't work, but Luiz allowed me to stay that night and payment was a breeze the following morning. I slept in two different rooms, both were VERY spacious, super clean, toilet paper is always stocked, toilet/shower works great.

To be fair, I've had to think long and hard about what I DIDN'T like, and I guess, if you REALLY want a television to watch, there are none. Also, if you want a private bathroom, it's only shared. But given how I personally never watch television anymore, it didn't make a difference. Besides, when in Bahia, you don't have TIME to watch t.v! There's so much going on OUTSIDE, so much to do and see, explore, learn and interact with real people, who needs t.v. anyway? Plus, I think it's a big positive. No t.v., means LESS NOISE OVERALL. So, if you NEED to have a working t.v. to watch during your stay, this would be a negative, but if you're a healthy human being with a healthy appetitite for socializing, it won't make a difference. Lastly, a private bathroom would be ideal during times when you're in a bit of a rush but someone's using it, and you have to wait to use the one that's shared, but it's rarely a long wait. Fortunately, only 2 - 3 rooms share a single bathroom, and everybody is aware that others are in need of the bathroom at any given time, so you never have to wait long to use one. Most of the time I needed to use it, it was free, but occassionally, unless you REALLY have to go #2, it's never a big deal. If I had ONE complaint about the shower (and this is a personal matter), is I like my water COLD. I love COLD showers, and this one only gets to a "little cold". I find cold showers to be very refreshing, especially considering the beaches are quite warm (like giant baths). Sometimes, I just want a nice cold shower as every day is very warm and hot, so that contrast is kind of hard to get anywhere in Bahia, but it's a minor preference of mines.

Really nice apartment close to the beaches in Barra, super safe! We really enjoyed our stay there!
