Elegant Downtown Home

All was fantastic. Our hosts Tom and Olivier were so kind and their hospitality with us was very excepcional. We would like to thank them!

Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer mit sehr moderner Einrichtung mit großer Fensterfront zum Hof. Alles ist sehr sauber und ruhig. Das auch sehr moderne Bad ist - außerhalb des Zimmers - der Nachbarraum. Die Lage ist gut - zu Fuß 20 min bis zur "zentralen Straße" Yonge St. und 45 min bis zum CN-Tower. Restaurants gibt es in der Nähe.

Der vom Gastgeber empfohlene öffentliche kostenpflichtige Parkplatz (22 CAD pro Tag) ist 9 min zu Fuß entfernt.

Sehr, sehr sauber. Sehr modern und neu! Alles tipptopp! Würde ich immer wieder buchen, zentrale Lage (wir haben von dort aus das meiste zu Fuß gemacht). Nette Gastgeber.

Das Zimmer und Bad (en suite) sind sehr gut und hochwertig ausgestattet und auf dem allerneuesten optischen und technischen Stand. Es fehlt hier an nichts, von Kaffeemaschine bis zur Badezimmerausstattung und entspricht vollständig der Beschreibung. Das Bett und die Bettwäsche sind superbequem und verführen zum Ausschlafen. Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht dort, aber der Empfang der Gastgeber war freundlich und unkompliziert.

Die Gegend zählt (noch) nicht zu den besseren von Toronto, obwohl die Strasse gut und sicher ist, aber das drumherum ist nicht perfekt (Drogen und Homeless). Uns hat es allerdings bei einer Übernachtung nicht gestört. Die beiden Eigentümer wohnen im selben Haus und man muss durch deren Wohnzimmer und Küche, um in das Zimmer zu kommen, dort hat man aber dann vollständige Privatsphäre. Mit einem Mietwagen muss man 8 Minuten entfernt auf einem öffentlichen, gebührenpflichtigen Parkplatz ausweichen, vor dem Haus darf man maximal 1 Stunde parken.

The room was large, the bed was comfortable, very tasteful decor with nice touches. But the best thing by far was the host, Tom. He met us on arrival, was warm and welcoming. He provided an itinerary for our short stay ( and we tried many of his suggestions). He coordinated an extremely early transfer to the airport. Great location.

Super clean, fully-equipped room with all the top notch accessories for the maximum comfort. Plus the best host ever!

Very clean room, the apartment and hosts really nice!

Wi-Fi didn’t work for the whole stay; bathroom is outside of the room which can be inconvenient (not sure if that’s described) and the room temperature was very warm at night which made it uncomfortable (in the morning the temperature was fine tho). The fact that is a shared house makes it not very pleasant as you don’t feel like you get as much privacy (that may have been my fault as I haven’t noticed that before!). The moss park area is very sketchy so may be good to learn alternative routes to avoid the homeless.

- The home was beautiful, well-maintained, and very clean. - My room matched the description and met expectations. - The hosts greeted me in person and were always reachable during my stay. - The nearby Cabbagetown area features charming Victorian architecture.

- Some rooms don’t have direct access to the bathroom, though it’s located just next door. - The front entrance is shared by all guests, so you rely on others to lock the door properly. It’s not always clear if the hosts or other guests are present during your stay. - The property is located in Downtown East, near Moss Park. Depending on your comfort level, the neighborhood may feel uncomfortable, especially when walking alone. I recommend researching the area before booking to ensure it aligns with your expectations and comfort level. - I was not aware of the housing and substance use issues in this area prior to booking. Had I known, I would have chosen a hotel in a tourist area instead. In fact, I ended up switching to a hotel for the final four nights of my trip.
