Perfect stay for one night along the rheinburgenweg, which we walked for two terrific weeks in October

Share facilities but that’s what I paid for. So nothing really. All very good.

Breakfast was not provided and there were no shops open in Trechtingshausen to buy anything. The owner said she would deliver bread and jam to our room before she went to work. This was much appreciated. There were no restaurants open except the campsite and the Castle. We went to the campsite and had a decent meal.

We hadn't realised we would be sharing a bathroom with other guests. The other guests were 2 men who hogged the bathroom for 35 minutes in the morning. This spoilt our stay. Plus the fact that, when we arrived, the owner didn't let on she was the owner and help get the keys out of the key safes. Nor did she show us where to go in the house.
