Alles was netjes en schoon

Ik vond het jammer dat we de host niet gezien hebben. De communicatie via de app was wel prima.

Ļoti skaista vieta pie Reinas upes. Iela mierīga, atstājām mašīnu uz ielas pie mājas. Plaša vannas istaba, kas nebija jādala ar citiem iemītniekiem, jo bijām vieni paši. atslāgas bija atstātas atslēgu boxā, kuru pēc saņemtām norādēm viegli atradām.

The view from the room over the Rhine was spectacular (the photo below doesn't do it justice)

Having to wait so long to use the toilet in the bathroom while someone was taking their time putting their face on. The pillows were so thin and too synthetic for the heat. The unit was stacked up with plates and cups, so on the one hand there wasn't much space to put stuff, and each time you went near you were afraid of a plate slipping and smashing. They were charging for the use of the kettle so who knows how much a broken mug would add to the bill.

Wonderful kitchen, view as promised, balcony. Would happily come back.

The neighbour smoked on the shared balcony, so we couldn't open the window.

Access was easy and quick, beds were comfy, view was really good. Price/value was also good

Cutlery was a bit broken and there was water under the sink.

It was a nice place for a stopover

The toilet was in the bathroom which was a shame. As we drew a bath for our 7yo son but then the other guests came who wanted to use the bathroom. So he didn’t manage to enjoy the bath.

We booked on the day itself and arrived pretty late, but were still welcomed. We arrived in the dark, so we were amazed with the view in the morning. The hostess is kind, it's a lovely place that feels more like a guesthouse than a hotel.

The house is located next to train tracks. I didn't quite mind hearing the trains from time to time, but it could be a thing for very light sleepers.
