Guillet Beach Home

Very nice family, close to the beach for surfing. Comfortable kitchen space to sit and eat. Very nice breakfast. They were very helpful with our travelling plans.

Food was very expensive compared to other areas in Sri Lanka, but it seems to be in keeping with prices in SK town.

If you are looking for homestay where you'd feel like the member of family, this is the place. Lucky and his lovely family are very nice people. Owner speaks very good english and share many tips for holiday in srilanka (what a pitty we didnt met him at the beginning of our holiday). Lucky's daughter was taken care of our 5y old daughter, she really loves her and miss her from then. I recommend to pay fee for kitchen, it is super equipped with everything you would need. Whole house is super clean, even outside you could literaly eat from the floor :). Location is nice as it is few steps from the beach. Rooms are quiet, no noice from the street.

Exceptional! This accommodation was recommended to us by friends, and we can definitely recommend it as well! We were warmly welcomed upon arrival. Lucky, the host, speaks very good English, so we were able to learn a lot about the country and its people. He helped us with every question and gave us many useful tips. The entire accommodation is very clean and tidy and is located just a few meters from the beach. The food is especially outstanding! We had the best coconut roti and the most delicious dinner here! Thank you for everything!

Very clean place, nice room with AC. Tasty food and sweet family. Just few steps from beach. Calm place without tourists.

The owner Lucky is probably the most honest person I have met in Sri Lanka. His pure soul is something different. He arranges whatever you need - taxi, safi, trips - just check on board outside the apartment. He has lot of contacts over the whole island, we have been like 3 hours from his appartment and he was able to arrange taxi back to his location in 5 minutes - we had to get back due to floodings and train cancelations in Ella. I had also some infection in ear, so Lucky took me to doctor, we didnt have to wait there hours and this helped me a lot. If I have not met this guy, I dont know what I would do. Biggest props to you Lucky, see you soon!
