It would have been better if they had an in-house cafe. But they still helped us to order food via cloud kitchens so it wasn't a big problem.

Very welcoming and serene property. Gitanjali homestay is a wonderful getaway, if you are looking to stay at Mysore -It is both central and quiet . The rooms are clean,property is well maintained too.Mr.Arun, the property manager,was extremely courteous and was always in constant communication with us even before we reached the property .Thank you to the team for making our stay a memorable one!

The only thing missing would be a TV in the room, otherwise you guys are doing great! Keep it going 😊

Before we arrived, Arun was in touch with us to help plan our logistics and was an ever-present facilitator throughout our stay. Yamuna is the perfect host. We thoroughly enjoyed chatting to her and picking her brain for suggestions on what to visit and where to eat. With its peaceful farm setting and beautiful garden, it’s hard to believe that you are a short auto (tuk-tuk) drive from the colourful Devaraja Market and Mysore Palace. We are already missing indulging in a feast of delightful birds from the cool verandah outside our simple and tasteful room. The breakfasts we had were scrumptious - crispy appams with homemade coconut and organic jaggery, idlis with spicy chutney, homemade banana and bitter orange marmalade all washed down with flavourful South Indian coffee.

Breakfast was simple and nice, room was well cleaned and maintained, Manager Arun was helpful with whatever we need be it directions to places in town or recommendations for restaurants to eat at.

Excellent stay. The manager was communicative to me before arrival and throughout, really looks out for guests as far as getting rides, food, and really anything. Ideal for clueless foreign travelers like me. Owner and her family also might greet you and explain a little about the Homestay and the location, local culture, etc. The breakfast was excellent as was food I had delivered from a local company. Setting is idyllic and peaceful after the hectic city touring, set as it is in the Mysore green belt.

The location is beautiful.
