The staff tried to be helpful, but I was quite disappointed with this place. I don't understand why it has good reviews. Perhaps some people like squalor, I don't. Frankly, there is nothing in Phayao worth seeing and I'd suggest spending your time elsewhere.

What didn't I like? Well, the animal excrement for starters. Dog, cat, horse, chicken, etc. Our "accommodation" was essentially a barn, and not a particularly nice barn. The furniture was uncomfortable, the bed was horrible, animals ate our food while we were out, and the koi pond next to the bedroom was a breeding ground for mosquitoes. The sooner I forget this place, the better.

A very rustic appearance with a traveller vibe, but with all modern facilities, (including 5g WiFi!) Very friendly, had a tasty meal cooked for us when we arrived as well as a tasty breakfast. Great coffee. All in All an excellent place to stay.
