The location is very central and located within walking distance of Tainan Train Station. Check in was smooth as I could leave my luggage at the door and explore the city before I was texted the passcode for the main gate and room door.

they dont have the lift and the room is assigned randomly, i need to bring my own 12kg lug to 4flr on narrow stairs. Also, my room is a loft, which quite scary to climb up, maybe i forgot to tell them im scared of height. plus the stair to climb up is a bit shaking when i climb, kindly check again for safety

Staff were incredibly polite and informative. Check-in and check-out were handled without meeting face-to-face, but instructions were incredibly clear and specific making the process easy.

Spacious and cozy room with modern design. Its in a quiet lane, easy to find, the "108 lane" is clearly marked. I appreciate very much that hotel gave me upgrade to better room. Price was cheap compared with other hotels in this city. Aircon working well, nice modern stylish bathroom.

Sorry, I cannot give a good overall rating due to poor handling of check-in. I have experienced other hotels without staff but here, I experienced many serious problems : 1) unflexible check-in times only 4 pm to 9 pm 2) I got 2 codes, one for main door, one for room door. It was not clear how to use door opener. You must first put your hand on opener so that the numbers appear. The device looked like if I have first to push the buttom at top. Who can know that outside Taiwan ? I met other young western travelers who experienced the same problem, so it seems that I am not totally stupid. I was lucky that other tourists could help me to open both doors. At room door it was also not clear that one has to push also the key buttom after the code, which was not necessary for the main door. 3) when i experienced the problems to open doors Ii called the phone number. Nobody answered. I also called over whatsapp voice message and whatsapp text message, no reply. Then i messaged over booking.com message function, but reply only after some time. I think they expect to communicate over LINE, but outside Taiwan LINE is rarely used. As they have frequent foreign visitors, quick answering via whatsapp is a MUST. 4) unclear what the red token on the bed is for. No door opened with that 5) handling of TV too complicated with all the different gaming and shopping functions. But this is a minor issue.

Great location, clean rooms, no noise from other guests, possibility to get drinking water (both hot and cold)

Lightning was a bit difficult, also the stairs to your bed hurts your feet. Wifi did not work properly, had to walk to the corridor many times to connect.
