Natasha who runs the Homestay was so helpful and her communication was spot on with anything needed.

Cleaner came in and cleaned kitchen, etc. The location is great, and always someone on the phone called Natasha to help.

Didn’t like anything there was blood stains all on the mattress and bedsheets and towels in the bathroom dirty bathroom the toilet was covered in poo sick.

Situated at the heart of Portsmouth, Proximity to every sight seeing within 15-20 min walk, Easily accessible Market , town centre, Kings Theatre, everything approachable And most importantly, cheap to afford

Nothing to dislike,

It was accessible, great place, clean but old. Toilet was clean and well-maintained.

There were bugs at the bed but it was alright. Place was old but manageable. Should have a new pillows and beddings and towels to make it more great. Should clean the bed as there were bugs in the bed.

Staff were great, check in was quick and easy. Location good.

Whole flat block smells, people in the room next to me were doing drugs all night. The room I stayed in smelt really strongly of cigarettes. I don’t smoke so it wasn’t the most pleasant thing ever. Foam mattress. Decor overall very dated and tacky.

The property is in a great location whatever your reason for being in Portsmouth. The room was clean and of a good size and the bed was very comfortable. There is a well stocked kitchen (crockery, cutlery etc.)

The bathroom is a good size but the hot water lasts 10 minutes max. I would not need the full 10 minutes but if you use it straight after someone else it probably won't have hot water whilst the tank re heats. Also the shower fitting is very outdated and you cannot have it set to shower from above; you have to hold it. There is heating in the room but it is not controllable and after a few minutes it is too hot. If you are on the top floor the last few stairs are very narrow and steep and coming down them can be tricky.
