Cosy, homely and very welcoming. Comfortable room with full use of kitchen, dining room, living room and outside back yard. In a great location - a 10 minute short walk to the High Street, where you can continue on to the castle and cathedral. Also it’s only a 10 minute walk to the football ground so very convenient all round.

Parking depends on a space being available, and twice I had to go some distance before I could find one.

The central location unfortunately the host had a disruptive partner coming into the house at various times arguing with Janette the host with abusive loud language towards her taking a key without her knowledge she said. . There was no privacy in the kitchen as the host was constantly around me leaving a bowl full of dirty dishes piled up in the sink and her partners clothes spread across the communal settee. I stayed out all day into the late hours to avoid returning back to the property. I told the host myself before leaving my concerns and issues and she agreed with my concern and that I wouldn't recommend the property to anyone. She doesn't put the guests needs first...There's no separate room for guests to sit away from her and her alcoholic loud partner unfortunately. Rowena

Very welcoming host and a great location going into town

Good accomodation for a fair price

Location close to the city centre

The room was cold, the bed was not fully made — there was a pillowcase missing. Overall there was a general mess and it was dirty. On the bedside table there was even chewing gum left behind by previous guests. The curtain rail was crooked, so the curtains were hanging unevenly, and overall the room was dirty.
