The Hide Away Modern Rooms

Terrible do not stay.

Warning for people who wish to find somewhere safe to stay. It is not here.

Die Unterkunft hat noch nicht mal einen Punkt verdient. Die Eincheckzeit von 18 (!) Uhr wurde nicht eingehalten, es war 19.15 als ich mein Zimmer beziehen konnte. Das war weder sauber, noch bestand irgendwo die Möglichkeit Sachen abzulegen, keine Schränke, nichts. Das Licht im Zimmer funktionierte nicht, ich saß abends im dunklen. Das Bad (gemeinsam genutzt, obwohl von einem eigenen Bad die Rede war) war ebenfalls dreckig. Noch zu erwähnen sind die heftigen Streitigkeiten zwischen dem besitzenden Pärchen. Diese fanden Nachts gegen 3 Uhr statt, sodass an Schlaf nicht zu denken war. Nie wieder! Und niemandem zu empfehlen!

Lovely place, hidden away but very pleasant. Lovely host and nice bedroom. Reasonable price as well. Well presented and facilties were clean as well.

In fact, there is nothing good about this business property.

I arrived at the property about 20.000-2100 and was unable to gain access to enter the property. The address appears like an evil place. There are no decent signs of events to show safety and business environment. The cell phone was not connected..infarct it appears that there is fraud taken place and I need my payment back ASAP.

Location was perfect and easy to find! Room was very clean and nicely decorated with bottled water provided.

The private bathroom was actually one bathroom shared between every room in the whole house. So made it difficult to use the restroom when needed as was usually occupied by someone else. Also no shower gel/ shampoo etc provided so if visiting again would bring with me.

Excellent stay, the host was extremely kind and thoughtful throughout my stay. The room is spotlessly clean, in fact the whole house is nicely decorated and very clean though. ( possibly recent refurbished) With a zen type feeling. Bed very comfortable, everything seemed new. The room had a fridge,.tea & coffee facilities, toiletries, plenty towels and wash cloths, there was a wall mounted smart heater which I paired with my phone, and was able to heat up room before getting back from work, nice touch! plenty of storage for my luggage. Bathroom is private to guest,.however not ensuite. The shower is amazing, such a treat, high pressure with a few settings. Train station is 5 minutes walk away, took me to Central in 10 minutes. shops and mini super markets are a literally a Stones throw away. The host has done an excellent job well done. I will surely be back. 10 out of 10

Owner demanded £30 cash payment on the Booking App messenger "for cleaning" - there is no mention of this on the web site hone you book, so beware - have asked several times for receipt but not had any reply, so have raised with customer service. Window was taped up to stop the draft but obscured by closed curtains.
