Spacious air-conditioned room. Large comfortable beds. Big TV. Accommodating owner. Clean.

Smell of cigarette smoke in the bathroom and entrance hall in the morning (but not in the bedroom).

It is OK for 1 night sleep over in Split. It is close to the ferry terminal which was handy for us. The host was nice and keen to help. The room and bathroom were clean.

The room is inside a private flat. I didn't mind it, but I was a bit surprised. We were given the keys and had our privacy, but happy it was for 1 night only. The room could do with a kettle.

Nothing

First of all, the host never mentioned that this is a room inside his apartment so as we were 2 young women traveling alone we felt unsafe, there was a camera in the hall as well. Secondly, it was not easy to communicate with the host as he didn’t answer booking messages very often. The apartment also smelled terrible since the host smoked inside and he had a dog which contributed to the smell and the host tried to cover up the smell with air freshener but it made it worse. Lastly, we woke up to him knocking our door at 8 am. He then tried to open the door but luckily we had locked it the night before. After we ignored him he came back to knock on our door at 9 am (even though the check out was later). In summary, we felt unsafe and were not comfortable at all.

Location is not far from the bus stops, harbor bakery and restaurants , comfort of the mattress, location

No door bell so we had to call, strong artificial smell of air freshener inside the flat, camera installed facing the front door, room needs some renovation but the mattress was comfortable.

Host mostly stayed out of our way and was nice enough when we saw him.

Was not aware that this was their house and we were staying in an unlocked room within their apartment and sharing a bathroom. As a group of young girls traveling alone it felt unsafe if it was more than one night we would have sort alternative accommodation. The room also smelt of smoke.
