Sun Rice Homestay

Jeff is great host with his family Local communities are super friendly and welcoming Away from the city center we like it Jeff organized sunrise trek in the rice fields and takes good photos. Breakfast is good and evening we share dinner together.

Tout était très bien, acceuil chaleureux de la famille. Toujours disponible pour des recommandations aux alentours. Jeff est venu nous chercher en ville et nous a déposé le dernier jour au bus. Il est au petit soin. On a fait le trekking sunrise et super souvenir face a des paysages magnifiques. Le repas le soir permet discuter tous ensemble c'était vraiment un très bon moment. Je recommande vraiment A noter qu'il est loin du centre mais avec un scooter tout se fait facilement et il vous propose la location de scooter.

Eigenaar Jeff is onwijs aardig en behulpzaam! Geeft tips over bezienswaardigheden, helpt met vervoer, wilde ons ophalen en afzetten bij het dorp. Klein kamertje en gedeelde badkamer, geen bijzonderheden. Lekker ontbijt en heerlijk avondeten voor kleine prijs, gezellig met andere gasten.

I had the most wonderful 2 night stay at the Sun Rice Homestay. I booked it based on the other reviews and it turned out to be a very good decision. In fact I'm gutted I didnt stay longer. The owner Jeff is so welcoming and helpful. On arrival he took me to the local volleyball tournament which was great fun. All the guests enjoyed a lovely communal meal each night finished off with some Arac! Jeff's brother took me on a fantastic all day bike ride around Ruteng which was really enjoyable. And as the other reviews state, one of the highlights was Jeff's guided rice fields walk at sunrise. He took some wonderful photos for me. The homestay has a wonderful view over the rice fields and they served delicious banana pancakes each morning. I wouldn't hesitate to come back here if I ever return to Flores.

Super homestay à réserver sans hésiter. Jeff et sa famille nous ont accueillis comme à la maison et sont super présent pour aider à organiser votre venue, vos moments sur place et votre départ. Le soir on dîne tous ensemble et c’est vraiment un super moment, avec une nourriture délicieuse et une ambiance très chaleureuse. Et surtout, faites absolument le lever du soleil dans les rizières avec Jeff, c’était clairement l’un des plus beaux moments de notre séjour!
