Eko Homestay

- Very friendly staff, always willing to help - Good location to explore the surroundings

- there are multiple holes in the wall, hence, insects (mosquitoes and ants) and lizards can enter the room easily - the bathroom smells very bad. The well needs some refreshing - we rent a scooter (70k, a price you could easily find somewhere else), which was totally unsafe. The brakes were not working appropriately, the speed indicator did not work and he was consuming way too much fuel. For a 3-hour drive, we needed the amount of fuel, which you would use on a 2-day trip with a normal scooter - ask for the clear breakfast price. We thought we had to pay 40k/person for all-in breakfast (as this was mentioned by the owner). In the end, this only included a small banana pancake and some pieces of fruit (too small for a general breakfast).

It was a room in a family compound, so a real homestay! This was a great experience. The family is very kind and they also own a massage salon in the house. It's very central and convenient

Maybe they can provide soap. But there is a shop in front where you can buy anything. Also would be great to have a water refill, to reduce plastic. 😁

Clean, confortable bed and well situated. Eko is helpful and his family is very nice. Good massages next door with his wife. It's an immersion into a Balinese family house so expect the early wake ups etc ...

They are constructing a new room next to this one so construction noise all day from 8am 😞

Very nice big room right in sidemen with a nice breakfast included. Rental of motorcycle is possible. 60 000 / day. Eko and his family are super nice and propose a lot of activities and services. Tours, taxi, massage, etc.. No AC but no need since it gets colder during the night. If it's too hot for you there is a fan also in the room.

Cold shower. Wasn't an issue for us.

The couple, Yanu and Eko were extremely friendly and helpful, answering all our questions. We took a tour to Ujang Taman with Eko who has a wealth of knowledge. The room was really nice with a bathroom, nice terrace to relax.. property was in a good location and not too far to walk to restaurants

I thought the pancake which was served for breakfast was too thin and certainly was not enough, even with the side plate of fruit.
