Ac was great, got the job done and was a place to come home to after a long day.

Bathrooms we’re definitely lacking airflow and not the cleanest. Mold was definitely prevalent in the shower area.

It was dirty, smelled like mould and there was even mold. The bathroom wasn’t really cleaned and smelled as well. The frontdoor didn’t close so all the Moskitos could come in. The staff was unfriendly.

Horrible smell for 4 days from air con that made me sick, very little cleaning only got new towels on day 6 and the water bottles were never replaced/bed wasn’t made.

It’s our 2nd time to stay at Ropik’s place. It only got better as the new rooms have been finished. The room was super clean, had more than enough space for 2 people, and had an amazing view of the sunset. In the morning, you can hear the birds singing! The place is located in a very quiet area, away from the sounds of vehicles. There’s a motor rental just a minute away, a convenience store 2 minutes away, and restaurants and cafes just 5 mins away! All these are by walking distance btw. Would definitely stay here again when we come back to Uluwatu.

Our stay at Ropik and Alik Homestay exceeded our expectations! The bedroom was very clean, comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, which was great for the warm weather. The location was also ideal—close to the center and within walking distance of a few restaurants. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and convenient place to stay.

One afternoon I arrived at the room and found a staff member from reception inside with a child, picking flowers from the veranda. This made me feel a bit uncomfortable as it felt like a lack of privacy. Despite this, we enjoyed our stay but would appreciate clearer boundaries regarding guest privacy."

The staff was very helpful and friendly and Ropik himself is a good host. Rooms are very spacious.

Property is a bit noisy because of the proximity to other homestays and building sites.

The location was great. There were plenty of places to eat nearby. Some beaches I could even walk to. Pretty close to the Uluwatu Temple. The room was as pictured.
