Pujihouse One

Lovely family and really convenient place ! Can only recommend it

Likes : Where to start.! Agung and Agus, the hosts/owners here are the reason for all positive/likes at 'Pujihouse'. Agus : with 28 years of experience in big Hotels has brought all that experience to bear . Therefore our comfort is ensured. The room : great sized, cleaned daily,large balcony, great shower,roomy bathroom,excellent mattress (can make for a good sleep),generous with coffee /sugar supply,kettle installed, fridge :a bonus,top performing air con. Agung's brekfast : again, generous in quantity /quality.: just ideal. They both are aware ,from vast experience: what travellers expect/enjoy: and they deliver with great ,extended friendship : making you feel extremely welcome : and totally 'at home' : one of their own.! And it's totally natural : from their hearts.! With 8 rooms : (ensures full capacity most times : with often long 'termers' : another good sign of the standard they've set,initially, since 2015: and have maintained /improved upon even more ). The pool: another bonus. (Excellent/practical sized: cleaned regularly ,essential ,as Agung ,intelligently :is fully aware of ). Every request of them is complied with. Agus ensured a best valued taxi for me,to Sanur : was brought to the door ,on my departure. Googling for the best valued 'ride',for me: my phone had 'died'. ( He was happy to do this automatically: not an issue).They have an extended Family, of course: but make you feel 'one of them'. A rare quality but it's their natural reaction and most appreciated . I have no hesitation in recommending 'Pujihouse House One ' to 'one and all ' : they deserve 9.5 'rating' : MINIMUM !!.Plus continued success .Only achieved through hard work, intelligent thinking and simpy good heartedness . All of which they have ,for a long time : established.

Dislikes : only one , which Agung and Agus have NO control over,are fully aware of its negative effect on some guest,have had NO cooperation from the owners and apologised :although it's NOT their fault and have their 'hands tied' : due to total uncooperative attitude from the owners. Four to five barking dogs: between 'Pijihouse' and the road. Barking at their own shadow : very annoying : and loud.! (This may not be an issue for 90 out of 100 guests : but it always is for me.!Always has been : but it's a common negative throughout Asia :local owners of these dogs : uncaring / oblivious to how annoying their dogs can be. ). But : "Pujihouse's" location is so quiet : the dogs barking noise : amplified /made louder. It's a real shame but Agung /Agus are fully aware : but can do nothing other than ask the owners to comply : which, of course they don't.

I liked everything about Pujihouse One but I especially liked my hosts Agus and Sagung. They are old-school Balinese, kind and helpful. When I mentioned that I missed the traditional Balinese breakfast of black rice pudding with coconut milk, Sagung hopped on her motorcycle next morning to buy some for me at Kuta market. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. The location around the courtyard and swimming pool is far enough from the street that traffic noise is abated. I also liked the water feature and aquarium.

The place is so clean and calm. The family running the place is so nice and helpful. I love the location. I walked everywhere and only had to use transportation only to go to seminyak or canggu.

Amazing staying, the owners were so nice and despite of the late check in they welcome me with smiles and a were very helpful. Location is just a few steps from a convinience store and just some meters from a shopping area. Plenty of places to eat around. My room was impecable and I had a very peaceful sleep. Recomended 100%.

The owners are absolutely lovely, and so helpful, the room was really nice and clean, very cute pool and the location was good. I only stayed one night as I was going to Ubud for my holiday, however I will stay here again next time I want to be in Legian, rather than at a resort.

Great location small clean homestay run by a lovely generous family. Only 8 rooms, lovely pool. Close to food market and some good warungs.

The air conditioner in my rooms was not very cool and there was a TV but no picture. Take a USB stick if you like to watch movies.

I get more then what I expected. A cozy and intimate little place where you can casually say hi to the people staying next door and get a friendly reply. Location is near a big road and have an easy access. Room is spacious with balcony and clean bathroom. Ibu and Bapak is also very welcoming, we had a nice little chat whenever we meet them. They have a small cute dog name Tilly who for some reason bark at me whenever I come. I don't mind because she is just a cute little bundle of fur :D Would definitely recommend this place to family and friends going to Bali. Will come back here on my next visit if possible.
