Batan Duren House

Everything was fine, very quiet location in the heart of Ubud..very close to everything, shops, supermarkets, restaurants, even Monkey Forest was 5 min away on foot, rental scooter and driving lessons by the neighbour, money exchange, etc..the host and his family are very nice people and they always make sure everything is ok.Room was nice, but nothing fancy..for this price you cannot ask for more.Its not a 5 star hotel but its a very cozy accomodation.Breakfest was also very good.

It is a great value for money. Probably best one you can find in Ubud. You get a private room with a small kitchen and bathroom. There is a small breakfast. The owners veré nice to do a vegan one for me. The location is great, in the center with plenty of shops and restaurants around. Beautiful garden.

My room vas quite dark The windows was shielded by another house and with scooter parked behind it so needed to be covered with the curtains all the time. Also there was a problem with hot water which sometimes did not work. And the pillows although washed had a sweaty smell. There is no como area to socialize.

The breakfast was good, the staff was accommodating, and the location was ideal.

A few recommendations for activities in Ubud would be nice.

Bed mattress was bad, so old. It was quite hot in the room even with the fan.

Nice quiet location that’s still very convenient for exploring Ubud. Comfortable bed with a good view and a water cooler in the room. Kind, helpful staff.
