The room we had (No. 8) was quite large and well located to the pool. The front verandah was a pleasant place to sit and survey the world. The pool was okay, the water clean and a nice temperature. Breakfast was sufficient, we only had the one. The staff were friendly and cheerful. The walk to the beach is not too long and it's well positioned, with a money changer across the road, an Indo-mart to the right, and many Warungs nearby. We also appreciated that even though they don't have a refund policy as such, they refunded us 4 nights after we left early. Communication with the manager was good and they answered promptly.

The location on the main road is a little noisy. The establishment overall looks a little tired. The sun lounges around the pool are very low and could be difficult to get up from for elderly persons.

The staff and owner were so helpful and friendly. The cool and hot drinking water tank in each room was so convenient! The swimming pool was lovely. An original breakfast!

The pool and location where a stand out for me. Easy to get to the beach and great options for food close by. This property is eco aware. Loved breakfast

There were miner things like the door to the bathroom was a little heavy for me to open but others would not find this difficult

Good location

The accommodation looked very nice in the photos. In reality, however, we found a shack with moldy walls, mold in the bathroom, a broken air conditioner, and dirty towels. On the last night, we even noticed that our duvet was moldy, which we hadn’t seen before because it was covered with a duvet cover. We were chasing cockroaches around the shack, and the breakfast was served in dishes with mold around the lids and elsewhere. The garden is in terrible condition, and it’s better not to explore the area around the shack. Next to our shack, someone had created a dump of empty beer bottles and other junk. It’s unbelievable that this accommodation is still in operation. And to make matters worse, although the hotel offers Wi-Fi, the internet barely works, if at all. The staff handled the broken air conditioner issue very willingly and efficiently. They also replaced the towels for us, but the overall mess, mold everywhere, and cockroaches are not things that can be fixed immediately — so be warned.

Beautiful laidback hideaway in the middle of Amed. One minute from the beach, which has lovely little cafes. Very good diving school right at the entrance.

Location and large rooms/villa. Good value.

AC stopped working a few times. Have some mosquito spray if you have an outdoor shower

The breakfast, location and quietness.

The room was okay, but needs some maintenance. The roof had leaked and I have water inside the room, which is a bit dangerous when you move around. The mattress was okay, but seemed to be quite old.
