Jempiring Homestay

My host Jempiring was so kind, friendly & helpful. The breakfast cooked to order each morning was delicious and my room was very comfortable with everything I needed. A great location, quiet even though it's super close to main road and within walking distance to lots of interesting places to explore.

Super comfy bed, great location (central but quiet at night) and very welcoming! Jempiring and her husband were so sweet to me and made me feel right at home. Communicative and generous, they were so accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and the AC was great!

I arrived right in the middle of a lot of religious ceremonies, which meant music and noise til quite late at night (and early morning). Plus it was the end of rainy season, which apparently affected the WIFI (so if you want to work, there’s a great coworking space 3 min walk away with better internet).

There is a musty smell and mold and unclean

The room I booked is clean and very comfortable. The scent of frangipanis was alluring; even the private bathroom smell so good. There’s a hot shower too. Since it is located in Ubud center, getting around on foot is easy.

I didn’t know that Balinese houses use a none UK power point. However, Ibu Jempiring has an adapter so that was very helpful!

Jempiring homestay makes you feel like home. Everything was spotless, the bed was comfortable, the aircon worked properly, the space of the room was perfect, and the bathroom was clean. The best of this stay is jempiring customer service, she is an extraordinary host, always there to help. All The breakfast options are delicious. The best nasi Goreng and mie Goreng. I highly recommend staying here during your stay in Ubud.

It was super clean and neat and shiny. I liked that the hot water was quick.
