Sunrise Cafe Bungalows

The location is great and you can see the sunrise from the balcony.

Don't support a business who do ANIMAL ABUSE. Homestays is full of birds in tiny cages (like 7) and some of them are even hidden into cages in the dark they spend their day jumping in the cages and go crazy. I tried to talk to owner nicely and he immediately proposed me to sell the birds very expansive to me so I can free them, it is horrible. I have been coming to Amed for many years and locals are so nice here, there is tons of amazing homestay who deserve your money, don't give money to support this cruelty and this business. The room i have got was FACING A WALL and the doors of the others rooms, when I booked it was written sea view. The other rooms have sea view, they gave me the room with sea view on my last night.

Oceanside balcony with an incredible comfortable bed, I’d love to stay here again!

Ocean side balcony was amazing. Clean, and nice little restaurant downstairs. I really loved this place and the family. The feeling was calm and peaceful.

It’s the jungle and this is a homestay - there are ants…but let them do their thing and they’ll move on. They always did. Keep food out of your room.

Location is great, walking distance to restaurants and great snorkeling. Sea view balcony right over the ocean. AC works, hot water works, restaurant is fine

it's not the newest place or is everything top notch and fine but probably that's where the discount comes in. I'd come back

WOW, this place ruined the rest of my trip because the room was so dang amazing, I've been looking for one as good since. My balcony overhung the ocean. I snorkeled in the mornings and watched the storms from my covered balcony in the afternoons as I worked. This place was cheaper and better than where I was across the street, and the owners let you do your own thing and give your privacy, which I really appreciated. Oh, and it faces away from the road, so it was quiet! This is actually really important b/c that little main road turns into a party zoo at night (somehow). I was so blissed out in this room, but eventually it was time to move on from Amed, and so I've been looking for a room like this since for this price. Not possible!

They don't provide breakfast and they don't have really a communal space for residents to hang (except their restaurant area) but honestly the room was so great, so quiet, with such an amazingly on-top-of ocean view, I didn't really care about that.
