Chanod Haveli

We had an amazing time staying here. The Haveli is located right in the heart of the city with all of Jodhpurs major tourist attractions being in walking distance. The family has owned the property for 125 years and hast just recently converted it into a home stay. The rooms are very spacious and bathrooms are clean. We had a great time chatting with the owner over (a quite delicious and complementary) breakfast. Can definitely recommend Chanod Haveli if you’re staying in Jodhpur.

'm so glad I chose this family hotel for my trip to Jodhpur. It's a beautiful house in traditional style with a century-long history. We stayed here for four days. The hotel is very clean and cozy. Our room was in great condition, with everything we needed, and the bed was neatly made with clean linens. The bathroom exceeded all expectations! The house is very well-maintained, combining history and modernity. Breakfast was included in the price of our stay. It was simple, very tasty, and more than enough. The dining room is spacious, with large tables and comfortable furniture. Everything is very clean and beautiful. The overall level of service is excellent. At our request, we were served delicious masala chai in the evening, which we enjoyed on the rooftop while admiring the fort and the surrounding area. In the mornings, we watched the sunrise from the rooftop. Our sincere thanks go to the owner of this house, Shri Shailendra Singh Rathore, and his wife, Minakshi Ranawat, for their help and hospitality. Our flight was early in the morning, and Shri Shailendra Ji personally drove us to the airport. He even made us some toast for the journey, which was very thoughtful. If fate brings me back to Jodhpur, I will definitely choose this family hotel again. I will also confidently recommend it to my friends.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful heritage haveli perfectly renovated. Great large bedroom and bathroom, good homely food, interesting exchange with the owner. It was a perfect stay. Everybody was really welcoming and most attentive to our needs. The owner arranged for us train tickets and even accompanied us to the railway station. Would certainly recommend 👌

Great traditional place with wonderful owners, great atmosphere to stay in clean but historical rooms, I will definitely be back.

The haveli is good and the rooms are spacious. Communication is really good. When the wifi was not available they arranged a wifi dongle for Internet usage. The property is well maintained and there is plenty of parking space.

The haveli itself is nice and the rooms are spacious but attention to detail is lacking in some rooms. E.g. our room didn't have any facility to hang clothes or any kind of cupboard which is pretty basic at other places.

Chanod Haveli was truly a homestay. The family opened their home for us to have dinner, were happy discuss Indian culture and customs, and even showed us how the delicious tomato chutney we had on brekfast was made. We received so much kindness and honesty from them it made two travellers feel at home in India.

Wonderful place to stay with very friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to help. Breakfast was home cooked and lovely.

Access to a washing machine would have been handy.

Really lovely hosts, delicious meals and one gets a real sense of living in a bustling Indian city.

Noisy location, but I imagine most of the old city resounds with the sounds of motorcycles and barking dogs.
