The Home Stay is great and well maintained. Itvwas clean and all the facilities are available as needed. The staff is polite and helpful. RajMandir is situated in a great location/spot as the sunset is beautiful and rhe roof top gives you great look of the fort feom the back. However, the street to go through is very dirty and extremely in bad condition, it has nothing to do with the home stay but just a heads up for anyone who would book it in future, be careful with your shoes, don't wear any whites!

La habitación era amplia y teníamos acceso a una pequeña terraza.

Nos apagaron el automático de la luz durante una mañana, cuando no estábamos, había cosas en la nevera (dulces para regalar, agua,etc) que tuvimos de tirar ya que pasamos todo el día fuera del alojamiento, al desconectar la luz, la nevera también se apagó. Las toallas estaban sucias, con restos de pintura y muy desgastadas por el uso. Había respiraderos en la habitación que dejaban entrar el calor del exterior, ya que iban directamente a la calle, además de no tener ningún tipo de mosquitera, cosa que estando en la parte vieja de Jodhpur, se agradecería, por la cantidad de animales que pueden entrar. El restaurante era todo abierto, con una cocina que valía la pena no mirar por falta de higiene, el desayuno escaso, podías elegir 6 tipos distintos “porrige + café o te + platano”, “tortilla con tostada (sin nada) + cagé o té + plátano”, etc. El hotel en sí no está climatizado, las escaleras dan directamente a un patio de luces, por tanto las zonas comunes como el hall, algunos sofás, etc, carecen de aire acondicionado.

Très jolie décoration. Personnel charmant et serviable. Patron très sympa. Repas excellents et frais. La terrasse avec vue sur le fort et sur la ville vaut vraiment la peine. L'hôtel est situé dans la vieille ville bleue à visiter absolument.

Ça manque un peu de lumière directe dans les chambres, ce qui rend la lecture difficile mais j'ai utilisé la lampe de mon gsm pour m'éclairer et c'était parfait

With the front door tucked away down an alley, this tiny entrance opens into a beautiful Haveli. Rooms were large and comfortable and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the rooftop view of the fort for breakfast, dinner and a few cold beers. Food was good, beers cold. Staff were super helpful, organising a few trips and cars for us. There are always TukTuks available out the front door. Only downside was my friends hot water cylinder wasn’t working. Not a big issue as we had adjoining rooms, she could use mine, but does stop this being 10 rating.

Nestled within the excitement and chaos of the old city, Raj Mandir offers a wonderful sanctuary. The roof top restaurant serves super tasty food, the service is genuine and friendly and the views to the Fort are great. The restored haveli is brimming with authenticity. The rooms were lovely and roomy, good hot water in the bathroom.

Whilst the rooms were lovely, they were a bit dark. Also, whilst it did not bother us, especially when considering the great price per night, our room was very hot as the stone walls absorbed all the heat from outside. The air con struggled and it did mean it took a long time to cool the room.

The Raj Mandir is located in the heart of the old town. As such, it is very favorably located for the main attractions around the old town. The downside is the amount of noise and dust present in the environment. Overall it is a pleasant, albeit quirky, little place.

Although the staff was very attentive, there are only a few boys to do everything. So, the cleanliness of the establishment suffers.
