Magen Homestay

Location was in a very quite residential area near War Cemetery. 3 minutes waking distance from public transport. The property owner was very friendly, helpful, lively and were sympathetic to our needs. The kitchen was well equipped with more than we need. We enjoyed the cooking very much. I shall definitely recommend others to stay in this property.

Who has longer time than just one night to discover Imphal should live here; I spent almost one week here and enjoyed every moment. The friendliest family I have met while traveling India. Perfect quietness, no car horns, no traffic, birds singing and a magical garden. Beautiful rooms lovingly decorated, super clean bathroom, all switches working, decorative plants in the rooms. A wide window front towards the garden with soft indirect sunlight throughout the day. The bed has a very good mattress. Delicious breakfast, I can highly recommend the fresh prepared parata and the excellent coffee.

The location could be closer to the market center, but you cant have both market and quietness. Close by there are supply shops and interesting restaurants.

Host was very welcoming and very nice. Bed, linen, bathroom, cleanliness. Green surroundings. Spacious room plus sitting room is nice. Dinner was homely. Staff is very nice and polite!

Location is a bit complicated to locate. Need one more bedside table, also sofa side table. Breakfast needs lots of improvements quantity wise. Also need intercom to communicate with the host. Only way to communicate is sms or call.

Excellent, warm, welcoming hosts - Kray, uncle and Aunty Clean, beautiful small garden with a sit-out. Spacious room, v clean bathroom, apartment is aesthetically done up. Room heater was very thoughtful.

A Microwave in the kitchen would have been great. Black teabags in addition to green teabags with milk powder sachets will be appreciated.

it’s a cosy lovely and spacious place, stylishly furnished, the bed is fantastic, the bathroom is a dream, there’s a fully equipped kitchen which I didn’t use, because Chan, the host , provides tasty and healthy food with I ingredients from an organic food market. the accommodation has a cute front garden which Chan is taking care of with dedication. she’s a great host, it feels so safe there. it’s really safe and quiet , yet only a few minutes by foot away from the central bus stop and shopping areas

The owners were very warm and helpful . The unit was very cosy , room was comfortable with clean linen and the toilet was very clean. The adjoining kitchen had all the facilities alongwith the utensils and cooking materials. The owners had provided hot home made simple but very delicious dinner and breakfast was also good . A nice stay , highly recommended for couples

The location was little interior , though easily accessible and near a prominent crossing . Some roadmap or direction for display would actually help tourists to locate the place easily
