It was a wonderful stay at hotel Quadiriya Palace. I had booked 2 rooms for 3 nights and the rooms and bathrooms were clean with hot water facility and are budget friendly. They serve meals and tea/coffee on pre ordering the menu. The host Mohammed Yunoos was very supportive  and took care of all the ticket bookings for us and guided us on the itinerary during our stay. The hotel is at a prime location and is very close to the main market for shopping, bus stand and the Periyar Tiger Reserve. Also forgot to mention, the terrace of this hotel gives a wonderful scenic view for relaxed evening sit outs.  Me and my family will always cherish the wonderful memories made at this  hotel and town.

"Thekkady is underrated with the amount of activities it has to offer. And this is the best stay."

While everything was great about my stay, The Location has to be the best thing about this place. Located just outside of the Periyar Forest this hotel is at the heart of all activities in Thekkady. The host is super helpful. We went to thekkady kind of unplanned. But the host helped us plan everything, booked activities for us. it genuinely helps when your hotel host is also a Travel Guide.
