Dera Jaipur - Luxury Heritage Stays in Bani Park, Jaipur

Lovely homestay in relatively quiet neighbourhood. The homestay is run by a family and they are all very kind and helpful. The breakfast is taken on a lovely veranda overlooking a garden with many beautiful trees, flowers and birds. Jaipur is not the place to go for rest and relaxation but this was a little bit of a haven in a busy city.

The shower water was either scalding hot or freezing cold, hard to manage three people having a shower in a row.

Everyone at the property is warm and very welcoming. They make you feel right at home, from recommending food options to organising activities. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the area was relatively quiet, which allowed us to rest up after long days of exploring the city. We really enjoyed our stay!

Quite possibly the only downside was the water pressure in the showers.

This is a regular home masquerading as a hotel. its situated in an obscure road away from city. Staff extremely impolite. For an extra bed they charges almost half of the room tariff , which is already way above what it should be for this kind of place, This amounts to fleecing.

Seems they discriminate against domestic tourists. We were forced to park our car outside the property on road. We were told that cars are not to be parked inside gate. But a car with foreign tourists was allowed to be parked inside. Seems they do not want domestic tourists at all.

We felt right at home. Great, quiet location. Tasteful interior. And fantastic service. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you for having us 🌞🌞🌞
