I had a really nice stay at the hotel. The owner came to the airport to pick me up after I arrived at the airport from Kunming train station. During the drive to the hotel, he told me how he named his hotel “不见即花”, which is a unique name with philosophical meaning. The hotel sits on top of a hill. From my room I can see a few brick roof houses on the hillside, and the forest faraway. I had a nice dinner at a restaurant right next to the hotel. The restaurant staff invited me to sit next to their campfire with them after I finished my dinner, just to relax. The hotel room is very clean and cozy, the bed is very comfortable. The owner’s mother prepared breakfast for me the next day. It is a typical Chinese style breakfast and it made me feel at home.
