Humble behavior, felt like home

The haveli is very beautiful, extremely well looked after, very clean and in a great location in town. Pradeep is an extraordinarily kind host and willing to help all the time, he has a lot of good advices to improve your experience and comfort in the city. Best place we stayed in India. Great breakfast!

We were looking for a quiet family homestay and found the perfect place at Madan Mohan Villas. There are currently 5 rooms to rent. They are set around the courtyard of the family Havelli. It is only a few minutes walk to the Royal Palace and Jagdish Temple. It is set down a quiet side street, so away from all the traffic madness surrounding the main palace area. The rooms all have new bathrooms with hot water, new AC and quiet fans. The Havelli has been beautifully restored with lovely decoration inside and outside the rooms. The top floor has tables and chairs, with a view over the city. There are also seating areas within the courtyard. Pradeep and his family were most welcoming. I don't think we have had a better host during our three weeks around Rajasthan. He replied promptly to my enquiries and was so helpful with planning trips and onward travel. Nothing was too much trouble, and we started each morning with a complementary chai. Breakfast is available if needed for a small cost. Take a look at his talented young daughters paintings. I persuaded her to let me purchase one, so I will have a permanent memory of our stay at Madan Mohan. All in all you get a lovely room, in a great area close to the tourist sights, for a very reasonable price, with the added benefit of being hosted by a family.

An adorable family welcomed me in the sweetest way and provided a beautiful, super clean and newly renovated bedroom. Had a delicious homemade thali. They are always ready to help and to bring a smile to your day. Really felt at home, wonderful!

Overall stay of good and plus point for this property is its location which is just walking distance from main attractions and places.

The property was very clean and located at a prime location. Pradeep bhaiya, the owner of the homestay, is an extremely courteous and friendly person. He helped us with our planning and also took great care of us. Definitely a place worth staying.

Pradeep ji and his family were exceptionally helpfull. We did our everydays breakfast and dinner and Food were delicious. Location is a plus point, most of the tourist attractions are at walking distance. We loved our stay there.
