Very good. Room is spacious & what shown in site exactly was there.

It was good to stay for a night although bedsheet and towels were dirty.

Extremely disappointing experience. The only good thing about this place is the location — everything else is terrible. The staff is unprofessional and completely unhelpful. Service is pathetic. They even charge extra for basic drinking water. There is absolutely no privacy, no proper facilities, and no food available at all. This place is nowhere near worth the money we paid. It honestly feels like a scam. The photos posted online are completely misleading and do not match the actual condition of the property. There is no beach access as shown — everything is locked. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this hotel. Total waste of money and a very frustrating experience.

Our Family Stay at Sea Side Home Stay, Shangumugham, Trivandrum Recently, our family had the opportunity to stay at Sea Side Home Stay in Shangumugham, Trivandrum, and it turned out to be a truly memorable experience. From the very beginning, Mr. Sam was extremely helpful in guiding us with the booking and arrangements. On arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Viashak, the caretaker, who was super attentive and always available whenever we needed something. His cheerful nature added a homely touch to the stay. We had booked four rooms, and one of them was sea-facing, which became the highlight of our trip. The reason we specifically chose this place was because our grandmother had expressed her wish to see the sea. It was heartwarming to see her enjoy the sunset right from the property, and in the morning she was thrilled to watch local fishermen pulling their nets ashore – a fascinating display of teamwork and tradition that you rarely get to witness up close. The location of this homestay is unbeatable. It’s barely a five-minute walk to Shangumugham’s prime beach and the lively food court. Being so close to the sea gave us a perfect balance of relaxation and easy access to local life. When it came to food, we decided to try their in-house dining. For dinner, we had chapati and chicken curry, which was satisfying, though we felt the flavors could be enhanced a bit more. The next morning, we were served masala dosa with sambar and chutney, along with fresh mango juice. Breakfast was good, light, and refreshing – a nice start to the day. With a little improvement, the food can match the excellent hospitality and location. Overall, the stay was peaceful, homely, and gave us exactly what we were looking for – comfort, warmth, and the joy of staying so close to the sea.
