Flower Valley Plantation Homestay

The accommodation is a peaceful oasis; you feel completely connected to nature, and I would have loved to stay longer than two nights! The hospitality is excellent. Abin suggested and organized activities for me, gave me a tour of the garden, and offered insights into Indian culture. The food was also delicious. I would go back again immediately!

Flower Valley was even better than expected. When you first arrive you’re struck with how gorgeous the property and its surroundings are, it’s truly beautiful. But what makes this place so special is Abin and his lovely family. Nothing is too much trouble, we were made to feel so welcome and comfortable. We really enjoyed our chats with both Abin and his mum, who cooked for us all four nights of our stay. Her food is amazing, and the dining area has a lovely atmosphere. The location was perfect for us, about 30 mins from Munnar Town in a quiet area. We enjoyed walks to stunning local viewpoints on Abin’s recommendation. We can’t thank you enough for your hospitality, we would recommend anyone to stay here.

We had a lovely stay here. Our room was part of a newly developed bit - so was clean, modern and very spacious (even with an extra bed for our six year old). It was also located in a quiet area that felt like it was in the heart of nature (certainly the view from our balcony). The hosts were a wonderful, friendly family - who were genuinely good people: kind, considerate and very helpful in helping with our travel arrangements or planning itineraries. They would organise breakfast and dinner for us, which was delicious (perhaps still a little spicy for our child). I'd been to Munnar about 15 years ago - it's changed a fair bit; a lot busier. However, it's the region you want to see - not the town itself - so there's no 'right place' to be, as far as I could work out. In this regard, this place is very well located to get about on a rickshaw or with a driver - and it's quiet, green and the rooms great!

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful homestay. The outdoor plants and flowers created a warm atmosphere, and the host, Abin, was attentive and helpful throughout. Highly recommended!

Wir waren zu 6. unterwegs und hatten die 3 tollen Zimmer mit Balkon und unglaublich schöner Aussicht! In so einem tollen Homestay waren wir noch nie und werden definitiv wiederkommen, falls wir nochmal in Munnar sind.

Beautiful beautiful property ran by the loveliest family of three generations. Just book here - the hosts will figure everything out for you: your activities, your hikes, your drivers. All super fairly priced and well suited to your needs. There are 3 new rooms that have been added in modern, generous villas and 3 previous rooms. The location is a bit far from Munnar but this is actually a good thing - the roads around Munnar are crazy busy and Munnar itself isn’t nice to stay in. Dinner and breakfast is cooked by Mum and is delicious. Rooms are clean. Drivers are reliable. Everything just worked.
