The behavior of the owner was extremely good and hospitable. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay at Mountain View. Food was fresh and too good both quality and quantity wise.

There's nothing I didn't like

We all feel that we were at our home. The way the owner of the Homestay treated us was amazing. The Homestay was very neat and clean with a very cozy place beside the river IRAVATI or Ravi. I will advice everyone to stay there .

It was simply charming.

First things first, Mr. Sharma is an awesome host. A retired veteran, gentleman with a strong passion towards hospitality & service. When I booked the property, I received a call within no time to confirm my stay & help with the navigation. We reached the property during evening and were welcomed by Mr. Sharma who accosted us to our room. The property is a true home stay experience and is managed by the host & his family including his 2 sons (all have impeccable service attitude). We were frequently checked for anything needed. Since we came after a long trek, the family provided us with pain relief spray, awesome evening tea/coffee & a wholesome meal cooked to our choice & taste. Immense care was taken to offer us home cooked fresh food with bonus add-ons of local delicacies. A true delight. The in-room amenities were excellent with spring water (hot/cold), clean linen, towels & decent washroom. The balcony has scenic mountain views with river Ravi flowing beneath. The overnight sleep quality was amazing. Morning breakfast was again cooked to our choice and served well. The host guided us for local sight seeing & exploring the near about places. He took special care to advise us on the safety aspects of driving on tough terrains. All family members were interactive & went over and above to make our stay memorable. There wasn't a "no" to anything we requested. Mr. Sharma was also kind enough to offer mountain maize flour from his kitchen for us to carry back home. All in all, I would say that its a perfect getaway and if anyone wants to have the best & affordable homestay experience, look no further than Mountain View Homestay.
