If there is paradise on earth it is Harry´s Ocean House in Pacitan. Everything about it is beautiful. The dorm, where you basically sleep in the open, the common area, everything. It is a place where you will find chill people, can enjoy surfing with literally no people in the water (apart from the people staying at Harry´s and few locals) and not many other tourists. For me it is the spot to learn how to surf, since it is a beach break (safe), only few surfers, but still some good swell. It is perfect for relaxing and extending your stay to more than just a few days (I ended up staying a month). You can rent a surfboard and scooter for a really fair price (cheapest I have had in my travels). Tina and Gayun who run the hostel are super friendly too. I am already planning to come back at the end of my travels :)

I think this is the best value place to stay in Pacitan. It's right on the beach, with great surf breaks nearby. There is a great manager there called Tina who is very helpful. She speaks english and other languages perfectly. The rooms are clean, comfortable, well maintained, and very good value. There is a large kitchen/lounge area where other travellers are friendly and welcoming. There's also an adorable white cat who hangs out there and likes throat rubs and fish heads. Tina will provide the hire of scooters and surfboards. She'll also provide information about local restaurants and tourist attractions.

I wish I'd gone there sooner and stayed longer!

Kindness of the staff (Tina welcoming us in advance and sending us all the info & tips we needed to make the most of our stay) & Gayung always around helpful and cheerful as well as all the other people in the staff. Guests are alike, the vibes at the property are "colourful", you just breathe peace.

Lovely grounds with small bungalows and lots of plants/trees all over. A rustic chic feeling. Cleanliness is super. The ladies ensure that the kitchen and the premises are sparkling clean. Shared kitchen is well equipped. The manager Tina is awesome. she speaks English! She helped organize transport from Solo. airport to Harry's and then to Jogja. I literally didn't have to worry about that part at all. Unfortunately for me, I fell ill with a viral infection soon upon arrival. Tina went out of her way to help me heal. Made a herbal drink that kickstarted my recovery. And was always available for any help I needed. I felt well taken care of and at home away from home. Its a perfect place to hang loose for a few days, just a stone's throw from the ocean. Scooters are available for rent to go explore the region.

Had a lovely stay at Harry's, a great little part of the world. Tina and her staff where amazing. Very easy and enjoyable stay for my wife and i. Hoping to get back another time to stay again.

Nothing not to like about this place.
