Harry's Ocean House Pacitan

Staying at Harry's Ocean house was a treat. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Communication both in person and on line was always clear and informative. After almost 2 weeks the staff felt like family. The bungalow was cleaned regularly and any maintainance issue was solved promply. The gardens were refreshing, the kitchen was clean and a pleasure to use, hire of motormike was easy and information about the local area, food , surfing and attractions was always available. Always a friendly atmosphere among other guests and in the shared kitchen. I loved my stay at Harry's and miss it already.

A little bit isolated without hiring a motor bike

The place has a very cozy and warm feel, the houses are well situated with a great feeling of privacy. The kitchen has all utensils, free coffee and tea and even water. On top of that, we were allowed to use the host’s washing machine to do our laundry for free. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, with room cleaning every day. The AC worked perfectly and the outdoor bathroom (non heated water only) was awesome. Just what one needs when it gets warm outside. The beach is within walking distance and the location is great for ordering food/taxi. Definitely recommend this place for your stay :)

Nothing negative on the property. Please be aware (as mentioned in other reviews) that the location is great for surfing. When it comes to female travellers hoping to get sun-tanned, Pacitan may not be the right place as it is advised to wear shorts and a t shirt on the beach. Lastly, make sure to research the nature spots nearby as the city life is not very active.

Its very comfortable to stay here. Very tidy room,kitchen,shower room and so on. Every room is cleaned everyday. Also the staff are kind and helpful.So nice! We can hire the motorbikes, the beach is close to here. We will visit again next time. Thank you

Beautiful place right by the sea with a serene ambience but social setting — I really enjoyed my stay here in Pacitan. It was perfect to wind down, enjoy nature from hiking to quiet beaches and trying surfing for the first time with an excellent teacher! Highly recommend. Humble thank you 🙏🏼

Feels like a luxury bungalow with a homestay vibe and price. 3~5 minute walk to the beach. Soft bed and linens, fresh flowers around the room, clean and well appointed. But the staff was a real bonus. So friendly and so helpful. I left an important charger there, and she went out of her way to message me and have delivery arranged to my next hotel. Extremely kind. Highly recommend.

. Most lovely bungalow in a beautiful setting . Really good communal area - kitchen, coffee, tea, sofas, books, games . Really near the beach and not too far to scooter into the town . Tina is an amazing host - she will send you loads of recommendations and just make you feel so at home . Scooter and board hire, plus Tina will organise transport if needed . Super friendly locals

. Property was perfect - only issues we had were the surf wasn’t great so we didn’t have heaps to do (but Tina’s recommendations helped!). We had a friend who came the next week and lucked out with waves. Girls, I wouldn’t come here for sunbathing as bikini on the beach isn’t really culturally acceptable here - not necessarily an issue just something to be aware of

It’s such a gorgeous property. A little oasis of nature. The bungalows are really clean and comfortable with gorgeous little verandas and outdoor bathrooms

This is a wonderful and very comfortable place to stay. The bungalow we had was beautifully decorated and cleaned every day, including a change of bed linens and towels. The shared kitchen was well stocked and cleaned regularly (except for the chopping boards!!). The location is close to the beach, so great for surfing. However there isn’t much else close by (we arrived late the first night and struggled to find food). Harry’s rents scooters with helmets at a very fair price - which is really a must to be able to get out to the town, buy food and explore the local area. Harry’s probably does very well in high season when it’s full with people to talk to, out of season it was very quiet. The town itself was disappointing and had little to offer. It’s also not an easy place to reach by public transport so beware of travel timings.
