Casa Papito

We ended up having the place to ourselves which was wonderful and lucky! The owners were out of the country and the other room was unoccupied. The pool is refreshing and private and the AC is a godsend to sleep.

There was no bathroom door in our room which at times was uncomfortable. The night guard also took away from our privacy a little.

Charlotte and Daniel are the best hosts. Their home is top notch and is even better in person than the pictures. The combination of indoor and outdoor space makes you feel like you have your own private villa. It is walkable to the beach and many restaurants. Book it if you get a chance!

Daniel and Charlotte are great hosts, they even made us homemade swiss bread. The place is great, clean, and very well located. Completely recommended.

The room was so large & gorgeous! the saltwater pool was warm & perfect! The hosts, Daniel & Charlotte were warm & friendly! It is modern & spotless & every detail has been thought of...the bathroom was enormous & well appointed! the private outdoor deck was larger than most decks in the US with lounges, table & chairs, a beautiful outdoor kitchen! it was one of the very nicest places we've stayed in during our 12 weeks in Costa Rica!! We will be back!!!

Beautiful property!

I had the absolute best time staying at Casa Papito. The hosts, Daniel and Charlotte, were friendly, accommodating and welcoming my whole stay with them. Such lovely people. Great communication. They have a beautiful home, warm pool and it's all a short walk from the beach and local amenities and restaurants. My room was spacious and clean, as was kitchen space. I would recommend, especially for solo travellers like myself - would also suit couples and families.

There wasn't anything I didn't like to do with accommodation or place. Most things are by foot but if you want to wonder to near other places, say the marina then hiring a car would be beneficial or using using a local taxi.

Our stay at Casa Papito exceeded our expectations. We found a clean, spacious, quiet, and comfortable room with everything we needed. The kitchen is very well-equipped too. Located at walking distance from Potrero beach, and just minutes from other nearby beaches (the sunset at Penca was stunning). The pool is tempered with easy access and just the right size and depth to relax and have a good time with our son, and to top it up, our hosts; Daniel and Charlotte, made us feel right at home with their warm touch. We also booked a Gyrocopter tour (Daniel is the pilot) overseeing several beaches, recommended if you are looking to experience some adventure as well. We will be coming back as frequently as possible.
