Casa Papito

I can't recommend Papitos enough. EVERYthing about this gem of a home was to the 9s( or 10s,). From the hosts, who were so accommodating and gracious, even taking us on a sunset beach tour in their golf cart (!!) and sharing their recipe for Christmas cookies they gifted us with, to the pool and gardens, to the proximity to beautiful Playa Potrero and the community. We even had beach towels. beach chairs, and an umbrella in our room for our use. Papito's host even curated a lovely tranquil music mix to listen to through the amazing speaker system in our room.

I really cannot think of anything. And trust me, that never happens;)

The home and location are exceptional. We did swim in the pool and the temps were just right. Our room had a mini split AC unit so we could adjust the temps to our liking. The size of the room is quite large, approx. 100 sq ft, with our king bed a table and chairs, complimentary Wi-Fi and music. A quick walk to the beach and many shops and restaurants within close proximity, many within walking distance. The beach is very nice, and I even saw cows on the beach, first time for that! The room had beach chairs and towels for us to utilize. The outdoor kitchen has all the supplies you need and if anything is lacking the host would make sure you receive it. Also, outside were a couple loungers if you just want to lay back and listen to the rain. The host are a 10+, Charlotte and Daniel, provided us with great information about this location as well as the surrounding area, simply put the hosts enhanced our stay tremendously. We forgot our bag when going home and they met us on the highway with the bag, so we did not have to drive the whole way back, which allowed us to make our scheduled flight departure time. If you're in the Potrero area I highly recommend a stay at Casa Papito!

I can't think of anything that I did not like.

Best place to stay in Surfside, huge, very confortable room, fully equiped kitchen, nice pool. The bnb has only two rooms if you are lucky enough to get one, go! The hosts Daniel aka Papito, and Charlotte are awesome people.

Nice and large clean room with big balcony (and a drying rack, always helpful in rainy season). Easy walk to the restaurants (with a wide range of selection) and to the beach. The salt water pool was very relaxing and we felt good to be able to park inside the residence. The owners were very welcoming with a lot of good tips and advice. We appreciated the foldable shares they were offering for our sunset on the beach of Playa Penca. The next day was, unfortunately, an easy 1h20mn to the Liberia airport. An address where we would like to come back and stay longer.

Absolutely wonderful stay - without a doubt one of the best lodging experiences we have ever had. The place is very nice - super clean, great amenities (pool, fully stocked outdoor kitchen, comfy beds, secure parking, etc.). The place is an easy walk to the beach, a number of good restaurants, and a great brewery. The hosts were absolutely fantastic people that made the stay truly amazing. I won't list all the nice things they did, as I don't want to set expectations too high! I guarantee they will make you feel like family and do everything they can to make your stay exceptional. Highly, highly recommend if you are visiting anywhere near Potrero!

Nothing - it was darn near perfect!

Very clean and the location is perfect.

The hospitality and service was 11 out of 10! The owners are so kind and hospitable and have created such a stunning B & B. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and clean. Our whole experience from start to finish at Casa Papito was incredible. Couldn't recommend Casa Papito enough!

Nothing really it’s not a hotel but better !

Daniel and Charlotte were perfectly gracious hosts with a beautiful home, and were full of helpful recommendations and information. Because we were staying for a few nights, Daniel made us a loaf of the most delicious bread that I have ever eaten. I thoroughly regret not asking for a recipe! The room was huge and very clean and comfortable with a lovely private outdoor deck/living space. The pool was the perfect temperature and the garden was lush and beautiful! The location was ideal- walking distance to the main street of Potrero and just a block from the beach in a nice and quiet area.

As others have mentioned, a bathroom door would be a nice addition but the lack thereof helped my boyfriend and I reach new levels of comfort with each other (ha!)
