PLIt was unforgettable stay at Marari Das Beach Villa! If you're looking for a serene getaway, this is the place to be. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The villa is perfectly located just a short stroll from the beach, making it easy to soak up the sun and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The peaceful atmosphere truly sets this place apart, allowing for a relaxing retreat away from the hustle and bustle. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious breakfast prepared by our lovely hostess each morning. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and her kindness made our experience even more special. It has fantastic location near restaurants, especially the best one which is Fisherman Cafe literally behind the fence. We can't recommend it enough! If you're considering a trip to Kerala, make sure to check out this hidden gem.
INGBGreat location literally 2 minutes walk from the beach. Friendly and kind hostess who did her best to help us though her English is not excellent. The beds were comfortable and the room was dark and quiet at night with a good modern Air Con system. The little terrace was lovely though we were on a bit of a throughfare for other people coming and going to adjoining properties. Breakfast is nice if a bit monotonous after 12 nights. There were no hot drinks served at breakfast but we managed to get a kettle from the hostess so could have our own tea. Marari is a very quiet place with not a lot to do but if you want to just kick back and relax in the warmth it's perfect.
The room had three single beds in it which really took up what space there was. I'd suggest gettng rid of the third bed. There was never any hot water in the bathroom - while a cold shower is refreshing when it's hot it is more difficult to get clean. As mentioned above our terrace wasn't private with people walking past it at various times. I'm not sure all the facilities listed on the Booking.com site are at the property - there was no hot tub. In fact just going back to check the listing it says the hot tub is top feature of this double room - there wasn't one. Nor is there an iron, pants press, desk, extra long bed, heating, dressing room, carpeted, sofa, wardrobe, heated pool, tea/coffee maker, or any of the things listed under food and drink. I suggest the facilities listed on the site are reviewed. This has somewhat affected my view of Booking.com properties.
