The property is a modern villa on top of the steep hill with gorgeous views. We loved everything about it. The hosts were so friendly that we felt like visiting relatives we never met before. We paid for the breakfast and it was delicious with lots of choices: eggs, cold cuts, different cheeses, homemade jams and home baked cake, fruit. We rented ebikes and had to use turbo to get up the hill with our pack packs, otherwise it's a 1,5km up up up. But it is worth it.

"perfect place to stay to visit douro area, close to town, and delightful little gem of a spot."

warm and welcoming host, super comfortable bed, incredible views, squeaky clean, well appointed with fresh linens and towels. fresh fruit, port wine, and treats from an attentive and kind hostess.

soundproofing between rooms could be improved, but that was the only small issue. still had incredible sleeps!
