It's located in the outskirts of Luodong where traffic is virtually nonexistent (at least at the time we were there). So, if you're looking for a quiet area, this should do it. The house is very spacious with everything you need (and more) on the ground floor : fully equipped kitchen, TV, video games, karaoke machine (oh yeah !) and even an electronic mahjong table ! Upstairs are the bedrooms. Ours was quite big and decorated with taste. The ensuite bathroom was bigger than expected, with bathtub and shower to accommodate everyone's preferences. We also had a balcony with rice fields and mountain view. Also, out front you can park up to 3 cars which is a plus. Finally, it was really easy to communicate with the landlord who was very helpful throughout the stay. For the price we paid, we thought it was an amazing deal.

If you picked that place because you were looking for something quiet and remote, well that also means that the food options are scarce, so you should know about it. It was not really an issue since we expected it. You can still find a few places here and there. If you’re a light sleeper, roosters nearby might wake you up early. But if I were to pick one tiny thing that bothered me is that, the way the house is designed, if people are a bit noisy in the living room, noise travels up the staircase and can be easily heard in the bedrooms.

That’s a pity that Wifi on the third floor was not strong enough that Netflix couldn’t went through well. But this didn’t make lots of different. Still like this house.
