La vista desde el monasterio es espectacular… nos recibieron con un té y galletas que se agradece después de largo viaje

Los baños son muy básicos, no tuvimos agua caliente y un hilo de agua salía en lavabo de manos.

Colazione incredibile con prodotti e piatti tipici Sri lankesi. Personale molto gentile, tanto da accettare la modifica delle notti per imprevisti personali.

La posizione è abbastanza scomoda, non si trova bene su Google maps infatti abbiamo avuto problemi a raggiungerla.

Bellissima location fuori dal caos del centro di Ella. In 10 minuti a piedi percorrendo i binari si raggiunge la città e tutte le attrazioni nei dintorni. Bellissima vista su Little Adam’s peak ed Ella rock. Camere spaziose, con ampio spazio fuori dotato di tavolo e sedie. Ottima anche la colazione. Possibilità di usufruire del servizio lavanderia. Plus di questa struttura è la possibilità di unirsi al monaco nella preghiera e nella meditazione, esperienza molto intensa.

"Mooi en aangenaam verblijf"

Grote kamer met comfortabel bed, koelkastje en we kregen veel drankjes. Bijzondere ervaring om mee te doen aan chanting, blessing en meditatie met de hoofdmonnik (gratis). Snelle reacties via Whatsapp in duidelijk engels. Dicht bij het treinspoor, dus lopend zo in het centrum. Mooi dat je verblijf ook de lokale school voor kansarme kinderen steunt.

Niet iedereen van het personeel spreekt engels, wat het soms wat moeilijk maakte om te communiceren.

"Peaceful retreat close to the action in the bustling market town"

Panoramic view over the mountains. Calming environment with hosts who could not do enough for us. There was a kitchen and they were happy to do laundry but we didn’t really use that. The large fridge was great for cold water. 6 mins walk to the town over the train tracks but it felt like we were in the countryside with wild peacocks around us. The meditation was interesting and thought- provoking in a beautiful temple. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Rooms were clean and functional. It was amazing value for the money.

The hot water was so hot I nearly burned myself!

"Pace e tranquillità"

Il panorama era spettacolare, bella esperienza fare la preghiera con i monaci buddisti. Se piace camminare, ci sono dei percorsi che partono proprio dal monastero
