Beautiful scenery, located a bit out of the buddy center but the 10min drive out of town is so worth it! Super friendly host, delicious breakfast

Cannot rave enough about Bella Ella! The view from the room, the wonderful and super helpful host and the amazingly friend family dog. It was a perfect two days in Ella. The breakfast provided was exceptional and the evening meal delicious. Our host organised a tuk tuk for us to nine arches bridge and the bus station early the day we were leaving. So helpful and so friendly.

Absolutely fantastic stay! The owner is the loveliest guys and went out of his way to make us feel at home, help us with any issues and recommend things for us to do! We seriously would have extended our stay for so many more nights if we hadn't had a flight we needed to catch. Such amazing value for money as well, the breakfasts and dinners we ate here were DIVINE!! Some of the best we've had, million percent recommend.

Not a thing!

Bela Ella is a small homestay near the town of Ella. The room we stayed in was very basic, a bit dark and cold. However, the view of the mountains was beautiful. The staff was very attentive and provided a lovely breakfast.

A general renovation of the rooms to meet Western standards could significantly enhance the overall experience and eventually bring much more clients.

The family were lovely, the room is down was very steep stairs - and the place itself is in the middle of know-where hard to find (need more signs up) and once you are there, no where else to go. Had own transport otherwise the amount you saved by staying way out there would be used up with Uber/taxi etc from Ella (many refuse to go out here also - there is the taxi mafia to take into account and this is too far for them). If you have your own transport, want some time in the jungle then this is the place.

Calm, in the middle of the Sri Lanka nature with lots of animals around, we ve passed 2 great nights. The owner and family are very friendly and the cooking class was wonderful. Food, breakfast and prices are very good. 👍. We ll come back

Rustige ligging net buiten het centrum. Hele vriendelijke gastheer, die je altijd wil helpen! De kamer was erg groot en netjes! Zou hier zeker terugkomen!!

Our stay in Bella Ella was amazing. The host is really helpful. They proposed to us the dinners, local food cooked by his mother and it was delicious. Also, he helps us with renting the tuktuk, visit the tea plantation and recommend good places to visit. We have also a cooking class with her sister, and it was amazing experience.
