Good price and good place

Very helpful and wonderful guide. The room was very nice, clean, and hygienic. The location was also excellent. We are very happy with our stay. He helped us a lot in finding the viewpoints without charging any money, and his videos were also very helpful.

Authentic home stay. Clean room and bathroom. Garden / forest view from the (shared) balcony. Kamal the host is very kind and will tend to your needs, providing itineraries, routes, scooter and/or tuktuk. All you have to do is ask and enjoy your stay. The place is near shops and a restaurant but 40mn walk to Ella city center.

The host is super friendly and helped us with every little thing we needed, from planning our days to helping with bus routes. The bed was really big, we had soap, towels and a fan provided. The location was just outside of Ella but there is a bus stop right outside that goes into town or there’s a lovely path you can take to walk there which takes about 40 minutes. Exactly what you would expect for the price but we really enjoyed our stay here and would stay again.

Great budget stay with a wonderful host If you’re looking for a low-budget, authentic Sri Lankan homestay, this is a great option! The host is incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist with anything you need. You truly feel welcome here. As mentioned in the listing, this is not a luxury hotel, so come with the right expectations. Due to the high humidity in Sri Lanka, the rooms and bathroom can feel a bit damp at times, but this is common in the area. The place is clean and well-maintained, and the hospitality more than makes up for any small inconveniences.

Everything available that you need! The landlord was super nice showed me so many things and explained everything perfectly! Gave so many great tips! I am impressed.
