Sri Bhavan Ella

It was close to the city centre (5min walk) but still hidden in the forest - so morning breakfast was just amazing. It has a giant porch to hang out, the rooms were big (actually two connectinf rooms) with big front windows. We really enjoyed the stay and would love to stay longer. The owner was super nice, made us big pots of tea and a really good breakfast. She even showed us a squirell nest in her house. As a heads up - you need to walk for 2min on a railroad to reach the location :)

Location is next to the railroad, but there were not many trains and it didnt bother us at all. The bathroom had a big clear window looking at the neighbours backyard - we covered it with a towel.

Breakfast really tasty and we liked the quiet location away from the main street, but still near good restaurants at Waterfall Road. We also liked the breakfast terasse where we were brought excellent tea. Owner very sweet but we did have some language challenges.

Family room rather small compared to the pictures on Booking.com.

- it is right at the railway tracks. It is very loud as many trains pass by ! - There were holes in one of the mosquito nests - If you consider going there in a self driving vehicle there is basically no parking ( one small parking spot) and a very steep road. - there is no AC and there was mould on the fan so we did not use it - staff does not really speak English - there were ants in the room

Two large and comfortable rooms. Nice and quiet place, but at the same time close to the center of the village. Rich breakfast and nice hosts.

In the bathroom, the shower is in a peculiar arrangement, but we managed.

Walking distance to the main road, amazing and huge breakfast, the lady that owns the place is so cute!!!! Really clean too

The location and staff was very nice. The room itself was not very comfortable as it the sheets did not have covers and it was really humid in the room. We really appreciated the outside where you can hang out to chill.

I really enjoy all my stay in this place! It's so close to the town walking. The owner Amale was so nice with as, she prepared an amazing breakfast with much love ❤️

Excellent breakfast. Comfortable large bed. Excellent location - 2 min walk on train track to town. Lovely owner. Can watch monkeys, giant squirrels, parakeets etc from the porch.

Bathroom was damp. Standard for this type of accommodation.

Room was big, the Sri Lankan breakfast huge every day. Following the railway infront, with passing train, its 5 minutes walk to the station and town. Big beds, and the owner is so nice and caring. Really kind lady. We booked 3 nights stayed 4.

Nothing really it's clean, close by the town and activities and the WiFi works. So highly recommended. Maybe a bedsheet instead of the fleece for the night.
