Cosy twin room with private bathroom

Our room was cosy, clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent. Our hosts went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay.

The continental breakfast was delicious with plenty to eat. We were attending a wedding and the location was perfect just down the road from the church. Plenty of shops nearby for last minute purchases.

The upper floor of the house of Chris and Joy is a good place to spend a couple of days when coming of the boat to Europe (or going there). It is in a fairly modern area of Faversham, but on walking distance of the really nice old town centre (10min). Rooms are clean and fairly comfortable (see below). Joy cooks a nice a breakfast and both Chris and Joy are happy to advise you on what to see and do.

You have to reach the room through the personal space of Joy and Chris (hallway and kitchen) which reduces privacy. The room (and bathroom) are under a sloping roof, and at some places fairly low. The beds are 1.90m long, which is no problem when you are smaller than that.

Breakfast was great. Fresh fruit, muesli,pastries , toast. Etc. Joy & Chris are exceptional hosts. We felt very welcomed and settled as if it was home. We were able to take our dog and she was also welcomed. The location is so ideal for walking into Faversham and visiting the surrounding area.

The Host, Joy, provides a cold breakfast of fresh fruit, cereal and pastries, though she did also cook me some scrambled eggs. The accommodation is in a quiet cul-de-sac and there’s a very pleasant stream-side walk into town.

Hard to find fault. The accommodation is in the eaves of the house and despite warnings I did manage to bang my head several times

We stayed three nights with Joy and Chris. What a lovely accommodation and what a lovely couple. The breakfast is so tasty and healthy: fresh fruit, Greek yoghurt, a croissant etc. Joy and Chris are very easy going and lovely to talk with. The location is also excellent: just a ten-minute walk and you are right in the centre of Faversham, this lovely market town. We also had a meal several times at Posillipo, an Italian restaurant along the estuary (near the town). Not very expensive, but excellent quality (also the fish dishes). Parking is free (enough place available) and we had a bathroom for ourselves. Stay with Joy and Chris: you won’t regret it. It is a lovely experience!

The bedroom and ensuite bathroom were spotlessly clean. Our host was personable and couldn't do enough for us. We were made to feel very welcomed.
