Narmada Holiday Home

It was lovely. The host Mr. Selladurai looks after the place as his home and is extremely welcoming and accommodating. Even though our arrival was of short notice he arranged a temporary room to freshen up and prepared a comfortable room for us promptly. Had a safe, secure and comfortable stay. He went out of his way to make sure we left with breakfast, even if it was very early that we decided to leave to beat traffic the next day. Would visit again happily.

More than you get ( comfort ,hygiene, food ,kindness) what you pay .

We loved everything about the property. We felt it like our second home in nilgiri valley. Our host was extremely responsible and affectionate. He even dropped us to Ketti railway station .😊

The owner of the property, Mr. Selladurai is an exceptional human being. He treated me so well and also served me a portion of the Biryani he prepared. The food was too good (breakfast)

Breakfast was Good . They were also accommodative to prepare breakfast without garlic. Location is good as the property is located between ooty and coonoor , near keeti village.

The owner was so friendly in nature. Even before we reached the place, the owner guided us to take the shortest route. He was in touch right from the time we started from Bangalore. During the stay we were 3 couples We occupied all the 3 rooms which were on the first floor. All of the rooms have attached bathrooms and a common balcony. All the rooms including the bathrooms were very clean along with new bedsheets and towels. Even the cupboards have given us a vintage vibe. There was hot water available in the bathrooms. We had breakfast for two days during the stay. The breakfast was too good. Trust me you will love it. The chutneys stole the show. The coffee and the team were on point . They have a dining kitchen(we used it for boiling the water and there is an oven for us to heat the food that we brought from outside).There was a refrigerator as well,you can use everything after letting the owner know. On the 31st, we played catan in their spacious living room. The owner was so kind to pack us breakfast on those two days,since we started for the ooty train and morning location viewing. He even arranged for a driver from us to drop at Coonoor and again pick us up at Oooty railway station for a reasonable price. Overall I and my cousins were more than pleased with the stay at the Narmada Holiday home. Whenever we visit Ooty again,we are definitely going to book here only and also recommend to any of our family members or friends to stay. Thank you

Beautiful homestay in a peaceful location. Immaculately clean with beautiful views of the valley and delicious home cooked breakfast. We really enjoyed staying with Ronald and Sheila who made sure everything was good for us, including finding us a safe driver for four days. They also helped us plan our sightseeing trips in the local area and even took us to the local village to meet their parents. We would highly recommend for those looking to come to the Nilgiris hills, in particular foreign travellers who want to understand local culture and relax in the countryside. The WiFi was good enough to do some work calls which came up, which was helpful. Perfect English spoken. We enjoyed tea tasting at Tranquilitee and recommend Cafe Diem for lunch, an organic vegetarian cafe with a stunning view.

Room was very very small. Difficult journey to walk from bed to washroom.
