Telaga Homestay Ubud

I wasn’t able to sleep because of mosquitoes. Also, there was a plenty free rooms, however the staff knocked to my room 12:10, asking, if I would like to extend the room (usually it’s okay in other places to check-out one or two hours later than 12 A.M. without additional payment. One more thing: they do not accept agoda prices in cash. I asked to pay the same price, that I saw in mobile app (agoda), but the declined it. You have to pay at the app, if you want to have price with discount. In w, I can’t say it was the best experience.

The place is clean.

The most beautiful detail about this stay were the people that welcomed me with open arms!!! Thank you for that :-) The room was exactly as described on a beautiful lush property. I ordered breakfast which was freshly made with love and received a beautiful massage.

I love animals but those animals around are really loud, so be aware of that if you have a soft sleep. I heard my neighbours talking very loud. Sometimes I was wishing for a bit more stillness.

Overall we loved our stay at the Telaga Guesthouse since we felt like at home - the room was overlooking the beautiful garden and we had our private terrace too! 🙏🪷 The owner together with his wife were extremely friendly and were available whenever we had any questions or requests. We felt very good surrounded by the family! The food served was delicious and super fresh! We really enjoyed having breakfast, tea or coffee there ✨

The only drawback was the noise coming from the Chickens in the morning - most probably a little farm located next to the Guesthouse.

We stayed in one of the upstairs rooms. From our balcony, we overlooked a lovely and well-kept, diverse garden. The place is a little remote from the far too busy Ubud, rice terraces are in walking distance. The hosts are simply wonderful, lovely and friendly people, helping you with everything you might need. Try the massage, its very good. Overall full recommendation !

We needed somewhere in the hills where we could spend a night without breaking the bank. This fulfilled all of our expectations. We arrived late, slept in and had to leave, so no real time spend around the house unfortunately. We have this on our radar and would be super happy to stay there again

Nothing comes to mind. Super simple place and offerings but all done well

This place made a difference to my stay in Bali. This family is so kind and helpful. This Homestay is located close to nature and the authentic life of people. For an authentic and local experience, this is the perfect place. 🩵

Nothing, perfect stay.

The homestay offered food, which we ordered often. It was delicious!! The view was beautiful from our balcony.

Be aware that the place is about 9km from Ubud, but there is a bike rental down the road. However, it’s super close to the rice fields.

Really noisy with chickens and dogs sometimes starting at 2am. Just beware - Really loud prayer sometimes in middle of night for celebrations and early in the morning at sunrise

The room was absolutely beautiful and located in a gorgeous area, it was lovely and quiet and the drive there was also stunning. The hosts are welcoming and always happy to help with anything - I had a great little balcony and felt like I had my own private garden! Cannot thank Telaga enough for such a wonderful stay!

It was a really authentic home stay with an extremely welcoming family. The garden was absolutely beautiful and the offered massages were very relaxing. The food was very good as well.

The home stay is a bit further from Ubud and therefore in a more rural village. This is totally fine as long as you’re aware of it. What’s important to know is that there are lots of animals in the neighborhood which can be a bit louder in the morning.
